Children's Privacy

Such Is Life Skills is designed for use by families. Child accounts are created and managed by their parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without parental consent. All child data is accessible to and controlled by the parent account holder.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Email service providers — for transactional emails
• Hosting providers — for infrastructure and storage

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your household and all associated data through Settings > Data & Privacy. Deletion requests include a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel. After the grace period, all data is permanently deleted.

Data Export

You can export all of your household data at any time as a JSON file from Settings > Data & Privacy. The export includes household details, user profiles, rooms, tasks, task definitions, privileges, and privilege redemptions.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure payment processing. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
